Default When I get my XBOX 360... wireless question...

I don't want to spend near $100 for a wireless adapter that might give me a crappy connection... so what can I do instead? I don't know what the port of the back of the 360 looks like... so can I just buy like a 25ft CAT5 cable with the two male ends and do it that way?

I know it will fit into the router port... but does that fit into the console?

yup just normal cat5 in the back. as for the wireless if you need it because you dont want wires all over the place you can buy it used for cheap. I think you can buy a xbox one adapter.

I haven't found anything wrong with mine yet. If I can get a green ping on RSV than I can green ping anything.

Like everyone mentioned, you can use a standard networking cable.

Currently, I'm using the original Xbox 1 wireless adapter. It uses an external AC adapter so no extra power is drawn from the console.

It does get hot though. : \
