Tight now the USA is in a critical state. I beleive that this is a impass, a make of break situation. The US need to stop trying to control the world and actually work with other countries. The problem you are facing is wether these other countries want to work with you.

it will only end when we resort to alternative sources of energy. abandoning fossil fuels all together would be great.
but that will never happen as long as the people in power want more for themselves. frankly i think our whole system is going to crash. im hoping for and anticipating a revolution in the next 20 years if things stay the way they are now.
