Ok lets ask this then:

do you think crime rates amoung whites is less then blacks? and thats why we hear more about black crimes.

Or

DO you think crimes rate amoung whites is higher but we hear more about the black crimes?

OR

crime rates are the same and we hear more about black crimes?

 

It must be the media who only wants black people arrested... so they only show black crimes on TV :dunno:

 

I honestly believe it's C. The fact that i'm black has nothing to do with my answer. I just believe the media simply reports what it feels would give it more ratings. Yes, black folks do commit a hell of alot of senseless crimes. I believe that white people also commit alot of senseless crimes, but most white folks aren't as stupid with there crimes as black folks.

For instance, We'll rob a mcdonalds without a mask on with our work ID with our name on it clipped to our chest.
Whereas white people will go through the whole nine yards of not getting caught.

 

Blacks have a higher rate of violent crimes. Violence is what makes the news...that is why you see more blacks on TV. The actual rate of crime between blacks and whites may be almost identical.

 

i THINK (i dont have any facts to support me) that "white crime" has more of a impact on the general population then "black crime". but the problem is "black crime" happens on the street where it's easy to get caught.


For example here in Montreal (and erik can probbly support me on this one) most of the drug on the market is grown or imported by white gang(hells angels) but it is the blacks that sell it on the streets.

Also black gang wars are more public then whites. But again is it because of the media or is it that they do silly thing like shoot down people in day light instead of blowing up cars. :dunno:

We cannot conclude how many African Americans or black males are actually guilty of committing crimes. We can only obtain data on the number of black males who are arrested for and convicted of a crime. While arrest rates are highly subjective, one could argue that a conviction is a guilty sentence in the eyes of the law. Though that is true, given the racial undertones and biases still present in the American judicial system, it seems highly unjust to assume that black crime statistics are a valid indication of the state of the entire community of African American males.

The biker gangs used to be bad in the late 80's and 90's. Lots of murders and shit like that and it DID get in the news. Remember Mom Boucher? He was in the news like CRAZY recently ( 5 - 7 years ago )
