i think most of the scopes they have like this aren't anything more than a 4x... so to have something that large in the sights it would have to be relatively close.

but then again, i don't think they zero for anything over 200yds on these carbines ... therefore there really wouldnt be a need to adjust that extreme

:dunno:

edit: no more than 50 yards away ... so yea, close range + long sight in

Even if one could detonate the round with a bullet, it wouldn't be a guaranteed kill. That looks to be a HEAT round, which uses a shaped-charge to melt (and fire at a high velocity) a slug of copper through armor. He'd probably get get some shrapnel, but it would be the concussive force that might do him in. Even at that, much of that force would be directed towards whatever direction the weapon is pointed.
