In whatever branch of service you join, you are first taught dicipline, respect, and how to shoot a gun. Then you learn your MOS (job). Your job is always infantry before medic,commo or mechanic

i wouldnt say sailors or airmen are infantry first. probably the only time they'll do anything infantry related is if they're special operations.
