Orange Box, anyone getting it?
OH ... is that what the "orange box" is?
I saw horrible ads on TV and it really doesn't do much for consumers unfamiliar with the series.
9.5 is an awfully high rating, but I can't see myself getting distracted by another FPS for a while. H3 is eating all of my time.

I missed the little advertising they did so I just found out about it today as well. I still haven't put much time into Bioshock but I gotta get it since HalfLife is the shizzle! Even with the anticipation of COD4 releasing soon.

I'm kind of pissed at Valve for this. The only game I want out of that collection is HL2 episode 2 (because I already have HL2 and episode 1, not interested in TF2 or portal), but the only way I can get just that one game is to download it via steam for $30. Not only is that a $10 price hike over ep. 1 (for a game with probably less than 20 hours of gameplay), but it's been delayed for like a year. What's the point of episodic games if it takes 2 years between episodes? I prefer to buy my games on disc anyway, because I may want to reinstall the game 5 years down the line and may have switched computers or steam may no longer be working, and I may be shit out of luck. Steam isn't my favorite program either.
That said, I'll still probably pony up and get HL2 ep. 2. I've just been too invested in HL over the years. But I'll probably wait until christmas time (after this semester's over) so that I'll actually have time to play the game.
