yeah I hope it's just seeing stars right now. I checked on it again and it's just blinking and looking around now...still on it's back.

And the scent thing isn't true. Either mythbusters or some other discovery channel show talked about how unfortunate it is that people believe that because it keeps people from helping distressed birds.
