Anybody here own..
...a tube bender made by JD2 (JD Squared)?
Probably not but just thought I would ask because I am getting ready to buy mine and looking for a little feedback on them.

No I was looking at the Model 3 right now and stay manual. I can hook up a hydro unit off a log splitter if I feel I need the hydro system but from what I have heard manual isn't as bad as people think it is.
If I decide to go hydro I could always just save up a little more and get the Model 4 instead, just trying to stay realistic right now with how much I currently plan to use it...basically the Accord and the FJ40 is all I have planned with maybe a go kart and a prototype chassis in the future.

I don't personally own one, but the shop I worked at a few years ago had one. I am 99% sure it was a JD2 Model 3 with the hydro option. Never had any problems as far as I knew. dunno how much help it is, but all the bends I saw with it were real nice with very very little wrinkling.
Yeah I am pretty set on JD2 right now. I have used the Tube Shark manual bender and it was ok but I wasn't really fond of the overall construction of the machine.
