Default Torque

Wrenches....

I need one. I'm not too mechanically inclined and I don't have many tools. But I decided I want to do the oil change on my motorcycle. I looked at the step-by-step instructions online and it looks easy enough. The only thing I don't have is a torque wrench.

I looked online and they seem to range from $10 - $60+. What is a good one? How much should I spend? Anything I should look for or stay away from? Links would be helpful.

Thanks in advance guys

Get one of the ones with the long thin metal arm sticking off it and the gauge. Its cheap but I have one and it worked fine.

Then again my car blew up...

what do you need to trq? If it just for the drain plug I wouldn't worry about it. Just snug it up and don't overtighten it.

if you have to buy one h:

yeah. But if a good torque wrench can be purchased for $10 then I might as well get one. If I have to spend over $50 I will probably just tighten it with a regular wrench.
