Im gonna get this tattooed on my forehead: No car payments. If you can get a decent car and pay cash, why not? I dont understand some people and their crazy spending.

However, if youre making great money, sure. But why break your bank of even consider "can I make the payment comfortably?"

$75 a year on the Rebel and $663 per year on the Suzuki.

Good point. I am making the payments though, it's just.. is it worth it?

Thats a question that only you can answer...

Not sure what you paid, but consider the potential loss if you decide to sell.

Also keep in mind the repairs and maintenance costs you'll surely acquire with something older.

i'd keep the car... ludes aren't bad. but yea.. i'd be kinda worried about bad weather riding, because you wouldn't be going on your bike.... would you?

i have the "beater" and a bike. i hate it. te integra gets on my nerves, i want to sell the bike and the te for a nice new reliable car.

I plan to store the bike when the temperature reaches less than 40 degrees. Im hoping for a warm winter

Good point.. beater = annoyances and maintenance and stuff..



Well I did just get a new decent paying job, and I'll just see how things go for now. With the Rebel sold, that'll put some money in my pocket (but am definitely paying off some CC), I plan on taking some of it and getting a nice Joe Rocket riding jacket too.
