so i went to NewYork this weekend and had to piss so stopped in plattsburg. Got stop by the cops for speeding (was following traffic as spedometer is in KMH only) and apparently i was going 45 in a 35 zone. the cop comes back hand me a piece of papaer and tells me i have to go to court on October 15 or i can plead guilty by signing and sending the ticket in. This stupid thing doesn't even have a amount for the infraction + the cop didnt right down the right adress... how am i suppose to know how much the ticket will be for?!?

Usually as a out of country resident shouldn't he have reqested full payment immediatly in cash?

 

i never know how much my tickets are until i call into the courthouse.

 

Non of my tickets ever had a amount on them or a court room address.

i think you just supposed to know. but i always asked the cop where the court room was exactly.

i call the courthouse listed on the form, talk to a clerk, tell her what my name and what my ticket was for, she looks it up. Then she tells me how much it is and how long i have to contest it before i'm guilty regardless and how long before i have to have the payment in by. i just usually sign and mail the ticket in with payment, make sure ya photocopy both though just in case they say you never did

they dont put prices on tickets in MI.

 

i have 5 tickets under me. all because of the MR2. stupid car.

any way. so out of 5 tickets received i have 0 in my file.


not even fines. why b/c i went to court and the cops never showed up.
