Right now I am a senior credit analyst at Commerce Bank which is in the NE. i work in a middle market lending group, focusing on companies that do $50 - $500 million in sales. It's a good job because nothing prepares you to be an entrepreneur than seeing why companies succeed / fail first hand.

I went to an expensive private university and while it cost an arm and a leg, it was worth it.
@RB what is your focus?

i have a bs in phl and its about as useless as it gets, but i would love to get a phd and teach it, possibly write
i never discourage education, but having an actual goal would help determine your best course of action

that same thought has been through my head a few times, but if i go back to school it would probably be law school, but damn i love the psu campus

music theory, or actual playing?
you could teach lessons cant you?

phl would help with law school, but besides that there isnt much job market for it at all, unless its paired with business and then its just boring to me

i paired mine with math for the double dose of uselessness

My degrees are in performance. Basically a performance degree just gives you time to practice and study with a good private teacher. At an audition, the best player gets the job regardless of degree.

Finance...I'm mostly just doing it so that I'm not as limited in comparison to any competition that I may be up against when I rise up the corporate ladder. It's really a lame reason to get a degree but it's the world we live in.

My goal in life is to be a college professor.

I have started my masters thesis on how to create a sustainable online currency using Facebook -- now I just need to find a school :hs:

I'm doing my masters program right now at CSULB. I just started this semester and the cost is $1600 a semester so it's not that bad. I'm a teacher so having a masters will pay off in the long run.
