Why is it that when you wanna add a service, you have a representative in no time, but when you wanna cancel a service, you are on hold forever?

I tried to set up new service at my place and got flat out lied to by 3 comcast people in the space of a week. I told them "fuck off, I'm not paying a dime," and got qwest DSL instead. Its slow, but I guess decent customer service is a little more important to me :dunno:
