Yep I got the job and was hating the two weeks of training because it dragged.
Did my first solo run today (4 day weekend) and ended up busting out 23 parts which kind of surprised my supervisor at the end of the day because they were only expecting 15 or so parts...20+ is average for people who have been there for about a year or so

 

Actually I am probably going to end up quitting in the next month or so if I get the job offer from a magazine I have been in contact with. Just have to send off my portfolio this week and then I will know more.

 

i had a piece rate job for one summer, the full timers got pissed because i was too productive and i was going fuck it up for them, they were going to have to work harder.

i told them i was there to make money, not to make them look good. some of them didnt like me for it but tough shit :db:

yep thats the way I look at it too...fuck em if they get shown up, should have been doing their job right to begin with and I wouldn't have been needed.
