we actually got a pitcher of the saranac pumpkin ale on monday at the bar. it was damn good, not too much of a pumpkin flavor, which i liked, because i don't think i would have liked it if it was too strong.

nope, i drink it as is.
i have also brewed my own beer, i made a california pale ale. it is very tasty but some people have a tough time with it being unfiltered. i think i will run it through a coffee filter in a funnel next time
sam adams heffeweizen is my personal fave but the jw dundee heff was also good. Saranac had a heffeweizen for a short term and i personally found it undrinkable.
if it might have been saranac, i strongly suggest giving the sam adams a try. if it was sam adams, i guess you just arent meant to drink heffeweizen h:
