don't know what the fan looks like but I assume it is the genric wood paneling with gold trim one that everone has. I had one so I took it all apart, taped the glass and sprayed the metal with a textured black spray and the blades with a flat black and put it back together with stainless hardware. looks awesome now, pretty much everyone who comes to our house mentions it. it only cost like $10 too.

 

hahha you got it on the money, maybe I should repaint it then. The previous owners used the room as their library.

hahaha.. I'll take a pic tonight.. Nothing special. Just a green room with a bowflex (soon to be replaced with a bench) a stationary bike, an elliptical and 2 swiss balls. I only have a radio in there. I'm buying the tv mount and will probably get that put together next week.

did you already purchase the speakers?

I'd spend a tad more on the speakers (if budget allows). Those polks aren't very good.

 

low budget, hence low end speakers. i rather go this route then do some home theater in a box. What are good bang for buck speakers then.
