I am writing a thesis and I have access to endnote for citation management. But for the actual proposal and main document I want to make my life alot easier.

Is there any sort of helpful software or plugin for MS word that would make my job easier. Anything really, I just want to leave as much of the monotonous work out of this as possible.

Well thesis writing has a lot of referencing and cross referencing. When I write my thesis I want to be able to move around my references with the least amount of work possible. Normally software can help with that.

Also, revision control would be nice (although I can implement it myself), I'd like to have a backup with a reliable company. I really would like a single package for this and any other features you guys can think of.

 

OHHHH...I thought you were talking about writing a thesis for a paper, thats as far as im at right now in school
