Default So I'm jumping on the bandwagon...

and doing a diet h: I started the other day and I've already lost 3 pounds

Method:
-Walk at least a half an hour after I get home every other day
-No more bagels for breakfast :wtc: Having cereal at home and then an 11 veggie/fruit snack
-Bringing lunch to work to control my portions
-Drinking a minimum of 4 bottles of water a day
-Tracking what I eat and the activities I do online- stops me from snacking and I want to make sure I'm getting enough nutrients.

How tall are you?


Good luck - packing a lunch is a really good way to control portions and eat healthier. Drinking water is the hard part for me.

you'll see immediate losses and don't get discouraged if you plateau a bit. You'll hit a transition point where the fat loss / muscle gain start interfering.

make sure to get a full night's rest not to throw off your metabolism too.

5'3. My big problem was we were ordering chinese and all sorts of bad stuff, and it was just getting old. Drinking water is a piece of cake for me, once you start that habit its easy to continue.

For some reason I pictured you taller :hsdunno:

The drinking water habit isn't so easy for me for some reaosn.

Are you doing any exercising other than the walking?

Good luck. I have decided I only have time for the elliptical now a days, so i am just sticking with that for a while.
