the reason the USD is dropping right now, as in today, is because of the interest rate cut the federal govt just implemented. investors are shying away from the USD because they make less. The reason the euro is gaining ground currently is because there are rumors of rate hikes coming so investors are hopping on board hoping to cash in.
its not because they keep printing more and more money. give the US govt a lil credit they arent that stupid

when a value of a currency falls, the country does benefit because it means it's cheaper for people in other countries to purchase goods from that country.
this is one of the reason why china purposely keeps the value of it's currency low.
so what if the dollar is falling? it could mean a bunch of things and not all of them are bad.
