More Motorcycle help v.counter steering
I was talking to my friend about getting a motorcycle and now he has me interested in it.
I was reading online/watching youtube and they were talking about counter steering and I don't get it at all. Under 10mph turn the handle bars to the left and go left, turn to the right and go right...over 10mph the bike counter steers, turn the bike to the left and it goes right, turn to the right and it goes left. WTF?
why is this?
here is the link to the video.

Shake n Bake!
turn bike left, you shift weight to the right, and vice versa.. really helps with sharp turns.
I dont understand what there is to understand about it
If someone doesnt explain it tonight maybe Ill try to do a quick vid tomorrow.

but I grew up in central new york with tons of hills and I know I hit well over 10mph on my bicycle and never experienced this. Was I just oblivious to it?
EDIT: now that I think about it I may have noticed...but I just thought it was the bicycle wobbling :dunno:

Lab, I never realized about that on my bicycle as well, but when I think about it, I always used counter steering. I guess you just dont realize because its not as heavy/fast/whatever..
No idea.
