Tire Question v.Hankook Ventus HR2
So I got a blowout on the way home the other day (about 1 mile from my house). I realized that for some reason I had taken the key to my wheel locks out of my car. So I had my car towed to the Pep Boy's across the street from my house. This was pretty much my only option because I needed to go to my house to find the wheel locks. Anyway, I had Bridgestone Potenza's on my STi before but Pep Boy's didn't have them. The only tires they had for my car were the Hankook Ventus HR2. Since the tread was pretty low and my tires were pretty old I got a set of four. But now I am regretting it because I don't know if these tires are good or not. They were a lot cheaper then my old tires.
Are they good or garbage?

looks like similar tread pattern to the new Toyo T1-R
or a pirelli? I forget. never driven on them but my friends who autox with them didn't like it too much. might be perfectly fine for street use

Too much car for that particular tire.

the thread pattern is like the Toyo T1R.
I don't like Hankook.
I'd go with the Nitto INVO for the money. Very good tire for the budget. T1R is also in that range. I've both and I love them. Anything other than that are only the higher ends (Dunlop SportMaxx, Potenzas, etc.)
