Default When will you buy your next house?

A lot of you are in that age bracket where you will/should be buying something soon. Any plans yet? I am just curious how the minds of today think about property investing vs garbage spending

with the way the market is now, property spending is garbage spending.

it is a good time to buy, but with the sub-prime loan sector basically folding in half, trying to get any loan / mortgage is very difficult.

Anyways, I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I'd like to purchase my childhood home from my mom ... but I don't know where to settle because I keep thinking that my current employer isn't where I'm meant to be.

I'm considering it within the next few years since the market is so low. Need to save some money first, and figure out where I'd want to live.

Beginning of next year, Jan-Feb

EDIT: I'll be looking at townhouses - The homes in the area I want are way out of my price range
