Default Attn Bicycle Peeps of HAN

I have a Schwinn GSX Mesa mountain bike. I don't go off road anymore and I've been wanting to get a road bike, but haven't been able to get one yet. So for the time being I was wanting to put some street tires on it, just so its easier on the road. All the bike shops in town are really expensive so I figured I would just buy tires online.
Does it really matter with bikes between tire brands and what not? What would be a good site to get them from?

Does it matter with cars and tire brands? Not at all.

As long as you don't do lots 'o donuts on your bicycle I say buy some cheap shit and be done with it

Get something real hard so it's easier to pedal, comfort and bikes don't go together anyway.

Would it be a City/Urban tire I'm looking for?

I have a set of "urban/street" tires on my mountain bike.

puncture resistant and roll a hell of lot smoother on asphalt etc.

i forgot what model they are but they're made by serfas

JensonUSA doesn't say how hard they are. I think when I have some free time I'll head to a shop near me and take a look there and see what tires I like and such.

You dont need to look at hardness. Youre riding around town for kicks. You arent going to wear those tires down unless youre sliding around with the brakes on.

Like I said, buy some cheap shit.

Just go around the store squeezing the tires, feel them up real good, and pick the hardest one you find
