My favorite is/was Goldeneye.

As far as most influential. I'd have to say Doom because it's an old school game that made the genre extremely popular. Also, Half-Life because the story and game play were amazing and it brought the genre to a new level.

I was tied between Doom and Goldeneye. But I chose Goldeneye as they open me up to a whole bunch of other shooter games. h:
