How much did you guys pay for your tint and Whats the best kind to go with?

 

i got my integra coupe (2 front windows, 2 rear, 1 hatch) tinted for about $200 from some ghetto tint shop. i got medium (30%) in the rears and light (50%) in the front since it's illegal in cali.

 

Well i just looked up Oregon's tint law and it says 35% or higher.

 

20% all around, guy who did it charges $200

 

Well cool i thought it was going to be $400 to $500.

 

how long does it take to tint a car?

 

Well one guy said an hour. Thats something i would like to know also. So i think I'm going to go with the 35%. I would like it alittle darker but i don't want to get a ticket.

 

paid this dipshit 160, who i thought i knew pretty well and i was getting a good deal. ME=DUMBASS back then.
that was two years ago, 20% front, and 5%back

Now: it looks like 35% front and nothign in the back, seriously. I got chromish tint in the front and back looks like theres nothing there. That dick gave me a lifetime warranty but now the shops closed.


But now i have the hookup to get top of the line tint done for around 110, warrantied by the tinit company itself.

 

i think my car took 2-3 hours. the big curved hatch in the back is not easy.

my tint shows some signs of fade but i got it tinted about 7 years ago and it was a cheap job. come to think of it, i think it was $100 for the rear three and $40 for the front two. $140 total.

 

Tint prices are subject to inflation too.
