I have to die, to be able to call in another air strike or helicopter =X

 

This game god damn pisses me off. I only get like 6 kills per game :wtc:

 

wtf? i called in helicopter 2x and then an air strike before that. are you playing on pc or xbox?

 

i like playing on the hardcore servers better. only takes 2-3 shots to take someone down. instead of 1/2 a clip of a .223 weapon. the bigger caliber g3 and m14 only takes 1 -2 shots max.

 

PC - You can only call in stuff within the first 7 kills, thus I have to die again to call stuff in again.

 

Yeah thats frustrating. I hate having to unload so many bullets to kill. I like the 1 to 2 shots to kill

Yea I'm a bit late to the party. But I got COD4 for the PC for xmas. Great game. Loved it. But it was over too quick. I finished it in 3 evenings.

My 2 complaints about the game, 1) It's too short. Sure there's the multiplayer, but I'm not that interested in that. I might try it, but I like the single player. 2) There are some parts of the game where the bad guys just respawn and you never make progress. Which is cool if you just want to waste ammo and take out bad guys, but once you figure out that you can make it through the scene without firing a shot, it gets kind of boring. All you have to do for some parts is just "move up". Stay hidden enough to keep from getting shot and it just works itself out that the bad guys behind you are all dead.

Anyway, great game, hope theres some patches that add some more levels or something. Doubt it but hope for it. Maybe an expansion pack or something.

Game is stupendous, I just want more of it.

For reference, I'm using an AMD X2 4000+, 2gb ram and a 7600GT. Took the default quality settings, 800x600 and most things on normal or medium. Whole game was very smooth, no hiccups.

 

I played Rainbow Six: Vegas for like 8 months straight, 4 hours a day minimum, and sometimes for 24+ hours and never got bored of it...or at least took a long time to get bored of it. I know this is a rare thing for most games/gamers. COD:4 I got bored with like 3 weeks after I got it. It's just like Halo but with modern war guns...eh. RSV 2 hopefully will pull me in like RSV 1 did.

 

I just got the game Saturday and played it for like 4 hours straight...and the only reason I quit is because it's like 4 am and I need some sleep...to prepare to play more COD4 tomorrow.

So far, I'm very impressed and drawn into this game. The graphics are crazy and the gameplay really keeps me into it. I can't wait to try the online play later on.
