I'm making the comparison of COD 4, then playing COD 3. COD 4 is supposed to be leaps and bounds greater than COD 3, so missing out on CC's freebie might not be that big of a deal.
I dont even know why they made a COD 3. It was basically the same war as COD 2 in a different region with the same weapons.
If you were good on COD 2, you'll be good on COD 4. With COD 4, you get the Rainbow Six feel of ranking up and opening new options and guns. You also can call air strikes that add another strategic part of the game. All the controls and game play are exactly like COD 2, except based on technology 60 years later
