Default I just went to the doctor due to chest pain.

I've been putting this off for about 2 years now. Occasionally I get pains near my heart area of my chest, tightness, and a throbbing feeling that comes and goes very quickly. I've just been too scared of what they might tell me, I know....dumb.

Anywho, they checked my blood pressure, heart rate, and temp. Everything was fine. They even hooked me up to an EKG, and did a couple x-rays. Everything is fine as well.

He diagnosed me with having Musculoskeletal Pains and suggested I take Ibuprofen when I get them. Does this sound right to you guys? I may go to another doctor soon just to be sure and get a second opinion.

Hey bro, they said the same shit to me and I forced them to do blood work and a stress test. I recommend you do the same. They found that I have really high cholesterol and elevated liver enzymes. These two factors are possible signs of heart disease, which runs in my family. My pops was diagnosed with cardiopulmonary heart disease at 27 and had his first triple bypass at 31 and his second at 41. He didn't survive the second bypass. So get your ass back to the doctors and have them do teh blood work and teh stress test. BTW I'm only 25 and pretty damn unhappy that I might have heart disease this early in life.
