man, I'm gettin all pumped for Halo... can't even play for another 6 hours.

 

you guys ever mess around with the brute shot before? I learned the hard way that one shot + melee > shotgun

It's not the easiest to pull off though. The brute shot has such a small target range.

 

I love brute shot in close range. 1 shot and bash all the way, or even 1 shot and switch to AR or BR. It's a beast.

 

never thought about using the brute shot that way :thinking:

I hate the brute shot...maybe I'm just not using it right.

Drew, my roommate and I played 2 games last night and one was on the narrows. It was fantastic. I got a sniper spree camping up on the level. I would pick people off in the area, and at one point all 4 charged the man cannon and I no scoped 2 guys :irock:. They would come over and decimate that area and I would watch them run around trying to find me while BR'ing them in the head.

If my firewall wasn't gay I would find that game...was my last one I think.

oh man. the 3 new maps look terrific.

 

I'm also pumped for Avalanche. I used to spend hours on system link with 7 other guys playing CTF on the origional Halo... This is freakin genious. I regret paying for the first DLC, but I'll be more than happy to pay for this one.

 

Sigh. I barely remember the H2 maps. I had a bunk Xbox drive and half of my maps wouldn't load.
