Is it possible to beat down someone and not kill them??? That happened to me a few times yesterday. I would hit B and actually me hitting them then they did the same to me and I died instead. I was like WTF! :madr:

they're health has to be down enough in order for them to die.. it happens.

if they have full shields, hitting them will only take the shields away, not kill them... unless you hit them from behind. if you both melee at the same time, whoever does it first, or has more shields will win and the other person will die.

quick question for you halo hoars
i just borrowed a friends xbox and halo2
never played before, in fact the last fps i played was UT on the pc and goldeneye on n64
so im a bit out of practice to say the least
none of the controls feel natural at all for me, straffing and aiming gets me all confused and i get my ass kicked
is there a better setup than the stock one, i tried the layout like goldeneye but it didnt help any, what setup do you guys use and reccomend?

The only thing I change from default is I like inverted.

It takes 2-3 hits from the front when they are at full health. 1 hit from the rear

hmmm, dont think i messed with inversion
i know i liked to change it for flying style games, cant remember how i liked it in fps though
guess i better practice up so my friend doesnt thrash me when he comes back over to play
wish i had had the right kind of cables, this game looks like poop on this tv with only rca's going to it
