that's because he does a lot of lone wolves and they always have melee weapons only matches (swords, hammers) and those give you beatdowns.

I just got to the "sticks" portion of the video.
On construct, the guy is standing on a purple lift's ledge. He's throwing sticky grenades down the chute while people come up. That's so smart.

There's a hilarious blooper at the end. Dude sticks another guy's gun, the stuck guy picks a new gun off the floor, leaving the exploding one on the ground.
