Why would playing on a smaller screen assist your playing?

I just can't see everything on that enormous set. I'm constantly having to turn my head to look at a part of the screen. On the smaller set, I can see the entire field of play without taking my eyes off another section.

 

the example you gave doesn't apply in this case because your the panel is still only able to display a max of 768p, compressed or not that is it's max.

 

That's why I am like 10-13 feet from my TV. I can see perfectly fine without head movement...
