I think that's the difference maker, the realism. Although presented in a damn fine fashion, COD seems a bit too technical for me.
Don't get me wrong, H3 is a science on it's own. Strategy in that game is a must if you want to survive.
I mentioned this earlier, but I just can't achieve those "Superman" moments in that game. I don't have the sensation that I did something truly kickass.
In H3, I can grab a missile pod, hop into a light elevator, and "overkill" an entire group of 4. When playing H3, I have the potential to pull off action hero sequences at any moment.
When finished, I can integrate the game's experience back to the forum via images and movies.
There's all sorts of satisfaction here.

actually...you can't take screenshots or movies back after on COD4 or R6
h: Sometimes I really wish I can re-watch the match. That is a replay vaule I like about Halo 3 :thumbup:

you'll need the game mode (shark) to make the most of the new map (jaws).
Shark is nuts. It's a version of zombie where the infected is given rocket speed, low gravity, and a sword.
When running at full speed, hit a set of stairs ... it'll act like a ramp.
When running at full speed, try to turn directions ... the deceleration time is nuts.

I found a new walking angle when carrying the big guns. (machine turret, plasma turret, flame thrower, missile pod)
Pick it up, try moving forward while holding up-left. (not dead straight, not directly to the side)
Work with it, try it. Master Chief will bust bunnies.
I was helping my brother with Skulls yesterday and I found the sweet spot ... he was like, "wtf, your guy is hauling ass".
