it's so good.

 

I'm enjoying the game, but I'm finding it doesn't have the "polish" of Bungie games... graphics and audio seem to lack at times (menus, text, ect.), random object collision issues that seem to happen too frequently (like a warthog just virbating on unlevel ground), in game music is just fair, having major issues getting connected with friends (all of whom have open NATs), servers going down at random, lag seems to come and go (thought it was just my connection, but 343 acknowledges it as their issue).

Really enjoying mixing the best of Halo with some of CODs fair points. I enjoy going into a game with 3 friends and setting up our customizations to work with each other.

Once they get these annoyances fixed up, it should be a hell of a game... just doesn't seem to quite have the polish of what Bungie has produced.

 

After the abomination that was Halo: Reach, I'm very happy with it.

I found nothing wrong with Reach, and you guys just hated the gameplay - the game itself was technically sound.

The damn desert textures in Halo 4 are driving me insane... at medium distance, half of the boulders are missing their textures, just a plain brown color... then a weird gradient, THEN the texture appears (or just zoom in with your weapon to skip the gradient phase)... yet all the ones that are further away still have their texture?

 

Reach was terrible. Everything about it.

played swat last night. i was gettin' busy with the dmr on complex.

went from big team battle to swat and was walking around all calmly and said to my friend "this is so relaxing" :chuckles:
