The Wii softmod includes the USB Loader GX. This ultra slick interface allows the user page through games just like iTunes cover art.
The USB Loader GX runs off of the WBFS file system (just like FAT32 or NTFS, but for the Wii only). It has a limitation of 500 max titles no matter the amount of space left, so getting a 2GB HDD isn't worth it.
Also with the Wii, supply me with this:
I can fill it with the entire NES, SNES, and Genesis game libraries. With these emulators, you flip through box cover art until you find the game you want to play.
I'm in the process of creating a tech demo video of my Wii. I'll post the link when I'm done editing it. These hacks are really smooth.
