You should try Adobe Premiere...pretty powerful video program as well. Similar to that of Audition, so it might help you a bit.

Hmmm. I completely forgot about Premiere. I know I have a CS3 master disc around here somewhere.

Vegas is awfully easy to use. I know there are more professional things to do with it, but I'm happy. With about 1 day under my belt, I can capture live TV and remove commercials. That was one of my main uses for the PVR. :woohoo:

Can't you save it? I know there are ways to pull info off a dead HDD...

the HDD is in an NTFS-X format. Even if I wanted to, the save video info isn't in a standard format. : \
