Well, I broke down and got one.

I'm looking to save my fingers more than anything. I'm starting to develop pain in my right hand. :hs:

Here's a demo video of what rapidfire does on H3. (Note: kill the sound)

The biggest differences are:
Speed of BR / Carbine clips.
Speed of Chopper shots.
Speed of Ghost shots.

It's crazy how the rapidfire completely eliminates bullet spread. Since the game thinks every rapid input is a first shot, every bullet (in a chain) will always follow the same path. (This is for H3's auto fire guns: assault rifle, spiker, etc)

This mod will be completely useless for certain guns though such as the rocket launcher, sword, and laser. I'll just have to turn off the rapidfire (on the fly) if I ever pick up one of those weapons.

This is expensive as booty.

Again, I justified the purchase in order to save my hands. To empty a battle rifle, it take what, 10+ trigger pulls? Now, I just have to press once and hold down.

 

Did you try it with the laser?

 

I'm pretty sure the laser will just make clicking noises since you need to hold down the button to charge it up.

If I ever do play a swords game, I guess I can just set the rapid fire for the melee button. I'll look like a weed wacker out there. :chuckles:

 

Could be annoying with the snipe too... 4 shots can go quickly. Needs getting used to fo sho

one of the big reasons i hardly say anything is because i'm usually playing while my wife is sleeping (in the same room) and my mic sucks so i have to almost yell for it to register. if i didn't have to talk as loud, i'd probably say more.
