took me 40 tries, but I got it.


grab the grav lift (in the outside bunker)
make sure to have sticky grenades
hit the hallway


drop the grav lift
if you fail, throw grenades on yourself.
When you start over, you pickup RIGHT at the hallway. Grav lift still intact.



You can get this skull 2 ways.
1. position the grav lift towards the top of the walkway ramp, a bit right of center.

2. position the grav lift towards at the base of the stairs and use a combination of bruteshot + jump to rocket upwards

 

I heard if you don't get it before the grav lift disappears you have to start the level all over again?

 

oh no, not at all. Trust me on this, I did NOT get that damn skull on the first try.

Don't even try this with a partner either. I'm not even sure where you guys would start if you both died via grenade stick.



With any skull, you just can't start up at a rally point and find it. You need to start at the beginning of a level. No matter the amount of times you die, if you started the game from the beginning of a level (and did not save, exit, pickup again), you should be fine.

 

not true at all. i do some work, play two or three games, do some more work, play a couple games, finish the work.

 

So what you're saying is this, For that particular skull, If i was to try to get it, and i was to miss it, then all i have to do is kill myself and i'll start back from the area before and i'll still have the grav lift?

 

i think having a good host makes a difference, just like in starcraft. im running 10mbps and haven't experienced much lag.

that's the way it worked out for me (playing in "normal") mode.


instead of blasting out the areas before this spot ... I just ran to that hallway spot. that might have effected the respawn point.

game servers are not identical. they add hardware to the cluster farm if needed. If you're stuck on an older machine, you could lag. If you're placed onto a newer box, you'll might be fine.

you'll open up a menu to see what ya got and what you can turn on.
