It always seems that more players get hurts preparing for the season than they do in the actual season. Same for baseball.

Well, here's the bright side ...

With Oden, the Blazers were bound to be the 8th seed in the playoffs. He's that good.

Without Oden, they're a lottery team.

In another season, they'll have Oden and another lottery pick. They'll be even better than advertised, but it'll take some time.
