It's official.
One year from today I'll be starting my apprenticeship. Until then, shop bitch, I remain.
Now I just have to get this guy $8000 by then.
h: :nervous: :noes: It's gonna be kinda hard for me to put aside 500-600 bucks a month, but, I really have no choice, need to crack down on myself. I could always go back to Borders as a "third" part time thing.. but holy crap that's a lot of jobs and little spare time. :hs: But hey, I told myself I'd be tattooing by the time I was 30. And I'll most likely be finishing up the apprenticeship by the time that rolls around. :reechy: I'll figure out something, I'll talk to my brother, he's good with teh investing and money matters, so I'm sure we can work out a decent budgeting plan.
hooooboy....

But yeah.. it's a shitty deal... you do grunt work in the mean time, pay to get taught and work for free basically. But, in the outcome, you figure $100-130 an hour work? Most of the guys in the shop I work for average 1000-3000K a week income. So, the benefits outweigh the initial year of starving.
9 months to a year. Depends on how well you do. The last apprentice he had started in January, and he's out on his own at the end of this week.
