I'm salaried right now, and to me it's really no different than being hourly, as my job isn't hectic enough to really require me working overtime. If I were so busy as to need overtime, I would like hourly muuuuuuch better.

i've been both with my current company. started hourly, moved to salary, now back at hourly and i love hourly more than salary at least in this job.
i work lots of OT and on salary i was missing out on 10-15 hours a week.
both have their advantages though. it really all comes down to the OT factor IMO.
