Wow, Paolo Nutini, that surprises me.
i can see what they might be trying to do there ... grab the attention of younger crowds that might want to go but arent sold, add a huge local boy makes good act and that could push some people over the line on tickets

Yeah, but these tickets have already sold out almost immediately regardless of any other act...trying to attract a younger audience is pointless when you've got the baby boomers throwing down $250/ticket right away.

i ninja edited out the part where i said it would increase sales when i realized how stupid that sounded since zep hasnt played together since the 80's h:

honestly i only see him on there since he is a local boy and big at the moment ... so they stick him on as a warm up for the fans since his music isnt too crazy that those who like zep cant appreciate his stuff

No John Paul Jones no care.

Zepplin is washed up, the No Quarter reunion was absolute crap and now they are trying to o it again. Seriously I like Led Zep and all but they had their day and can't relive the glory, it just makes them seem pathetic now.

It’s also been confirmed that Led Zeppelin will feature original members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones, while Jason Bonham, the son of their late drummer John Bonham, will play drums.
um,

jimmy page and robert plant have been touring together more recently... my sister went to see them in 98 or 99.... quite honestly i wouldnt pay to go see them, if i wanted to go see led zeppelin, i would just go see wolf mother. different songs, same sound, no oxygen tanks or walking canes.
