right but ... the designate -san is generally used for a. elders & relative strangers as a sign of respect

since i "own" the cat ... i dont think it would be proper to use that

It's a cat. afaik, there's no honorific used for pets...

If you wanna be cutesy about it, use -chi or -tan ^^
