Default should i buy it?

I have been wanting a treo for a few months now, but like most expensive things i buy i take forever to decide on... i found one on craigslist. her is the add

I've got an unlocked Cingular branded Treo 750 I'd like to sell. The phone is pretty good condition (9/10) considering it was housed in a gel case and a thin protective covering protected the screen. The phone will come with the original box and all the accessories that were unused. The phone was only used for a couple months. It is unlocked so you can use it with any GSM carrier. I purchased the phone and unlocked it for $430, I am willing to let it go for $350. You can email me or contact me 510-501-6733 and leave a message.

my question to you han is, Is 350 too high of a price? or is it reasonable? should i pay cash or check? id prefer check but if he doesn't take checks what should i do? cashiers check? money order or cash?

If the phone is stolen and then activated the phone signal itself carries an identifying number that will track back to your account.

You meet at the Cingular store and have them check the phone to make sure it is not reported as stolen and you don't waste your money on a stolen item that will cause you headaches.

350 is high I would offer 250-275 at most for a used one regardless of how long the guy says he has owned or used it. Everyone has a "brand new hardly used" item for sale.

Dammit Los read my post and what I said. it is strictly to verify that the phone is not stolen, they don't have to activate it per se but they can look it up on a list to make sure it is a legit deal and not a stolen phone.
