Ya i know what you mean. I dont think banning all those "dipshits" is feasible but you who are the worst and sometimes a warning shows that you harassement is not acceptable. althought i think over all the mods keep the "dipshits" in order. i've also noticed other members comming forward and point out to the "dipshits" that its getting old. Like Jae in this thread.

Yeah well as mods our hands get tied twice in these matters because our initial reaction is to warn and ban for harassment. On the flip side we really don't want to drive people away nor do we want to be the limiting factor to what you can do.

Right now we are in a transition of trying to figure out wher we as mods stand in this forum anymore (long story not for public consumption) so we are trying to be as lenient as we can until someone finally says we have let too much slide...but that doesn't seem to be happening so we as mods are a bit confused.

 

It's like school when you were little. You get picked on a little bit too much... so you think an option is to go and tell an authority like a teacher or someone, and then it just gets worse from there lol.


I was in that situation when I was little and it got bad, so I learned after bottling it up for so long just to punch the 3rd grader in the mouth and chip his teeth. He shut up and became a quiet kid for a long while after that. Violence IS the answer h:

Unfortuanatly my linguistic limitation also hold me back from throwing "lirycal punches".

 

The funny thing is that I belong to a couple of very active boards that make the shit that goes on here seem petty and very inconsequential by comparison.

Hell the hazings here are not even the tip of the iceberg on some of those forums but they are growing steadily and have awesome tech forums as well.

 

I've been hazed. Mean words spoken are a bitch... but they wont kill you.

In the OT sections it is a free for all. There is definitley a pecking order and you have to set it up yourself. When some noob comes in and starts talking shit to you be a fucking man and shoot back.

The more you puss out on that kind of thing the more you set yourself at the bottom of the pecking order.

Survival of the fittest and if I have been here 3 days and prove I am more worthy of your respect than you are of mine then thats how it will be.
