Default George Foreman Grills

Are not worth it IMO.

I made a burger tonight. It took a long time to cook and didn't turn out all that good.

Anyone have some good things to cook on it?
Also, tips on how to clean the damned thing? Can you rinse it, or just use the damp sponge that comes with it?

my foreman grill has removable grill surfaces that are dishwasher safe. So I will usually clean them in the sink with soap and water then every once in a while run them through the dishwasher. I cook everything on it....maybe you just have shitty burgers.

The burger was frozen. I think that was my problem.
I don't think I can take the surfaces off. Its a small personal one.

I have the stand-up Foreman kind. The one that looks like a bbq grill. It's a bitch to clean, but try wiping it down as soon as you're done cooking. You'll use less elbow grease that way.

I use mine pretty often.

I can't bbq. It's in my lease :squint:

Edit: Defrost hommie :hs:

Thats the one I have.

Clean it while its hot?

Ugh.. I feel sick from that burger. I ate at like 10. Egg, cheese and burger. Then a strong rum and coke to wash it down. Everything but the burger was great.

Mine is different from yours. It's like this one. the grill part comes off. It cools down pretty fast, but it's good to hit it with a sponge as soon as I can.

Costco.

Yours is fine, and more practical. You owe it a second chance since you made them frozen. If you know you're gonna have burgers, take a couple of patties and put them into the fridge the day before. That's a good way to defrost. It'll help you plan your meals as well
