yea thats the 'beacon run'. It's a big deal for allman fans ... i think they have played almost 200 shows there since they started in the late 80's

 

Werd The beacon just got bought out by Madison SQR GRDN so I heard they might move it to a new Venue uptown

 

doubtful, but possible, as the beacon has become something of an icon in allman history, they have an album based off the beacon theatre and they have played yearly shows there since 89 ... i highly doubt they would move unless the place was shut down.

i told my roommate last night that this is her training experience:

day 1: she enters the (insert service branch here)
day 2: after she flips out over something trite, she is subjected to a psych eval where its determined her mental stability is MIA and she is sent home.

 

Or she can be the moral stimulation the (insert service branch here) needs.

 

I'm sure the beacon worked out a deal w/ MSG or something, wont know till a couple of months.
