Oh man, here we go again......v.4Fast4Furious
It's a circular flow. It's not like F&F is creating trends, it's simply spreading them. It's entire basis is off of trends that are already fairly mainstream, it's just magnifying it for everyone to see.
Honesty post:
I was genuinely excited to watch the first fast and the furious. - i had no car at the time and was fascinated by the sounds of blowoff valves. after watching it, i was utterly disappointed by the misrepresentation of the "scene" at the time, as well as the stupid misnomers that we all love to make fun of (motec system exhaust, sr20's in civics etc). my favorite scenes were the ferrari vs supra, and the supra hunting down the civics, because of the audio. anyone who doesnt like the sound of a 2jz or rb26 turbo is a retard.
two fast two furious i didnt even care to watch until a friend had it on dvd. still fascinated by blowoff valves, my favorite part of the movie was when paul walker was purging and revving his skyline at the beginning. that was it. oh yeah, eva mendez is hot, but oh well. i cant stand the rest of the movie.
third one, well - i actually liked it for what it was, minus bow wow. rappers turned actors always over-do their rolls. i hate that shit. except for mos def. as gaudy or over-the-top the cars were, you cant deny the driver skill and car control that those guys have.
fourth one - who knows

I'm not gonna lie, I saw part 1 and 2 but not 3. I'll see four though with that cast. I'm ok with show cars showing their Hollywood assisted stuff. And I'm ok with them on the street when they are done up right. I'm against the posers though, much like mostly everyone here.
geez, they're just movies. i can't believe people get all bitchy and whiny about the fnf movies. :reechy:
just like real drift cars so i don't see the problem there
