update ...
FoxNews.com

More and more news continues to come out regarding the Nick Hogan situation. Reports indicate that the accident occurred when Hogan was "street racing" what witnesses say was a silver Dodge Viper.

The St. Petersburg Times is also reporting that Hulk Hogan owns a 2006 Silver Dodge Viper that would fit the description of the car that Nick was allegedly racing. However, it has not been confirmed that 1) Nick Hogan was actually racing 2) That it was Hulk Hogan driving the silver Dodge Viper. Hulk Hogan arrived on the scene shortly after the accident.

Hogan's passenger remains in the hospital in critical condition. Just two weeks previously, Hogan was cited for speeding 82 MPH in a 45 MPH zone.

The Hogan (Bollea) family has hired J. Kevin Hayslett a criminal defense attorney located in Clearwater, Florida. If Hogan's passenger were to die (or in some cases even if not) then Nick Hogan could face up to 15 years in prison for vehicular manslaugter.

US News reporter Nick Baker appeared on Fox News with the following details:

Nick Hogan was racing a Dodge Viper and that police have not yet commented on the crash. They are still in the stages of investigating the accident. Nick Hogan had 4 other speeding violations in the span of a year. Two of the violations were for exceeding 100 MPH in a 70 MPH zone. He had yet to appear in court for any of those violations.

Wow.. interesting.. cause I remember reading something saying that Hulk was on the scene almost instantly afterwards. That'd be some fucked up shit.

this kid obviously was a wreckless driver and some of the blame now falls on the authorities for not reigning him in.
