UFC 74: Respect
Since I didnt see a thread already and nobody has been talking about it I figured I'd start a thread
h: What did everyone think? Couture kicking Gonzaga's ass was awesome. He is such a technical fighter. It was amazing watching him dismantle a fighter 25 pounds heavier and 16 years younger than him.
Koscheck/GSP fight went kinda how I thought it would but not how I wanted. I thought Koscheck would be more effective on the ground and that he'd be able to take GSP down which he couldn't.
Grove/Cote fight was totally unexpected. Did not think Kendall would get derailed like that. I expected to see him challenge for the belt after a couple more fights but Cote put it on him. Kendall needs to come back better than ever to get back on track.
Would have liked to see the Sobral fight. There was a bunch of blood on the mat before the first televised fight leading me to think there was a good fight we didnt get to see. Thought they would show it after the main fights but no dice. Just read online that it was during the Sobral fight. He sustained a cut to the forehead that was bleeding quite a bit. Seems like the UFC would want to show a good fight like that on PPV
Maybe they're saving it for the UFC On Demand so theycan get more money from people:down:
All in all it was a good card. Can't wait for next month. Jackson/Henderson ftmfw

Sobral choking out Heath a little too long:chuckles: Apparently Heath walked into the ring with a shirt that had a mugshot of Sobral on it. Sobral didnt care for that too much and let Heath know by holding his choke after Mazzagati called the fight. Thats what happens when you talk shit and dont back it up:hsdunno: Sobral is paying 25,000 for it
